At all other times is shows "IDLE", as in the real aircraft.
Please note that this unit needs to be connected to any proprietary game controller for it to function with a pc. No game controller is provided with this unit

Two step rudder pedals
In later versions of the Spitfire two step rudder pedals were introduced to raise pilots feet and thus help delay the onset of blacking out due to pulling "g's" in tight turns.
The SH model faithfully replicates the original including the tread detail, however we don't recommend that you use the upper rungs, which are more designed for show, as when sitting in a simulator at home virtual pilots never pull more than 1 g.!
The base can be adapted to fit most commercially available rudder pedal sets, by either replacing the pedals supplied or by fixing the SH units to existing foot rests. These items are made according to measurements supplied by the customer.
It is worth noting that these pedals are not recommended for pedal sets that use toe brakes, unless this function can be inhibited in the rudder pedal set.
Auxiliary tank cock & jettison handle
The SH auxilliary fuel tank cock and jettison handle works just like in the real aircraft. When the fuel cock lever is pulled aft towards the ON position a mechanical lock inhibits operation of the jettison handle. This handle is only freed when the fuel cock lever is in its fully forward OFF position. The SH unit hides two micro pushbuttons operated by cams that should be assigned to the toggle function in flight simulator control panels. The unit should be mounted on the bottom traverse of frame 9 just to the right of the pilot seat. The unit is supplied with wiring included, but the user will need to connect the unit to a USB game controller that is not provided.
Starter & Booster buttons
RAF type 5C/898 push buttons are typically used in the Spitfire MkIX for Starter and Booster Coil buttons. The SH version is stiffly sprung loaded like the original and hides a micro pushbutton deep inside. These should be assigned to the toggle function in flight simulatore control panels. This unit can be wired up to any proprietary game controller. Please note that no game controller is provided with this product.
These buttons are sold as a pair.
Main fuel tank cock
The SH replica of the Spitfire main fuel tank cock is designed so that it can be fitted to frame 8 just under the instrument board. It is discretely fitted with a micro pushbutton which is operated by a cam on the lever. It should be assigned to a toggle function in the flight simulator control panel. It can be connected to any proprietary game controller. Please note that a game controller is not supploied with this product.
Flaps operating lever
The Spitfire Histories replica Spitfire flaps operating lever actives a micro push button hidden inside the unit. The unit is supplied with it's notice plate for front mounting on an instrument panel and for simplicity does not include the rear part of the unit that exists on the real aircraft.
The SH unit should be assigned to the toggle function in flight simulator control panels and can be connected to any proprietary game controller. Please note that no game controller is supplied with this part.
RAF type 5C/543 switch
The RAF type 5C/543 switch is a standard ON/OFF switch. The SH version hides a micro pushbutton which is operated by a cam when the switch lever is operated and should be assigned to the toggle function in fligh simulator set up panels.
These switches are typically used in the Spitfire cockpit for the Electric Fuel Pump, Pitot Heat, Auto or Manual Radiator operation, Reflector Gunsight illumination, etc .....
No price is shown for this item yet as it is still being tested.
Set of instrument gauge facings
SH instrument facings are static representations of the original gauges, designed to contribute to the static look & feel of a Spitfire cockpit. They are designed to be inserted in the cut outs of standard Spitfire instrument panels. They include a cup base in which rests a paper printed static facsimile of the instrument gauge, a spacer, clear plastic sheet window and an outer ring.
These gauges come in various sizes representative of the different gauges used. Currently only part of the gauges have been designed - the full set will be available summer 2021.
Wobble Pump
The SH wobble pump is strill in it's prototype stage and it's design still requires some modifications.
Like other SH accessories it operates a micro pushbutton which should be assigned to the toggle function in flight simulators and it can be wired up to any proprietary game controller.
This part will be supplied with a cockpit wall mounting bracket for mounting in a Spitfire cockpit simulator.
Availability will be spring 2021
